Well hello.
Seems I keep coming back to here no matter what ;) I guess it might be the snow or something.
So, a lot's happened. I had just discovered I was pregnant when I last updated. I don't think anything prepared me for exactly how far along I was. By the time I had my "dating" scan, it was revealed that I was 35 weeks + 6 days pregnant. Yes, you read that correctly. 35 weeks, a day short of 36 weeks...so that's one week off what can be considered full term. Amazing right? Yeah, I felt like a complete retard ;) My son was born at 3 days short of 42 weeks by emergency c-section due to the fact (as was discovered after his birth) he had a true knot in his umbilical cord. I'm grateful that I didn't know this fact earlier in so many ways as I would have fretted myself silly over it. To think that technically he could have died at any point in the pregnancy (although I didn't even know he was there!) is quite sobering.
Still I have a rather lovely result whom I wouldn't exchange for anything at all.
So here he is: born October 25th 2008 :) Thomas.

And you waited until he was 4 months old to show him to us??
Congratulations! He is beautiful.
wow, certainly shocking i bet!! Hes so handsome :)
Blimey ... you hear all these stories of women not realising they're pregnant till either almost the last minute or when they go into labour, but you never actually know (albeit virtually) one of them! He's a very handsome and adorable fellow. Congratulations! (Very belated, sorry. I've only just caught up with you!)
Congratulation to you, Kay, and welcome to this life Thomas. It should be a great life for you as you have a wonderful mum.
Glad to see you're still here sometimes. I'm attempting a return to full-scale Xangaing.
congrats!
