Well hello.
Seems I keep coming back to here no matter what ;) I guess it might be the snow or something.
So, a lot's happened. I had just discovered I was pregnant when I last updated. I don't think anything prepared me for exactly how far along I was. By the time I had my "dating" scan, it was revealed that I was 35 weeks + 6 days pregnant. Yes, you read that correctly. 35 weeks, a day short of 36 weeks...so that's one week off what can be considered full term. Amazing right? Yeah, I felt like a complete retard ;) My son was born at 3 days short of 42 weeks by emergency c-section due to the fact (as was discovered after his birth) he had a true knot in his umbilical cord. I'm grateful that I didn't know this fact earlier in so many ways as I would have fretted myself silly over it. To think that technically he could have died at any point in the pregnancy (although I didn't even know he was there!) is quite sobering.
Still I have a rather lovely result whom I wouldn't exchange for anything at all.
So here he is: born October 25th 2008 :) Thomas.

What is the next "big step" in your life?
Well what an appropriate question, so I can't help but answer.
It appears that the next step is motherhood. Yep. Amazing :)
I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

Ok, hands up. I've been naughty and not kept updating this place. Seems life took over some :)
So, what's new pussycat? I've been waking up really early and finding myself watching the Olympics and laughing over people's names. A stray cat has been frequenting our flat confirming that the BF is in fact the crazy cat magnet that I always thought he was and to top it all I've started thinking I'm pregnant. Yeah. Nice one >.<

Oh my, wet wet wet. Strange silly British weather. I have actually made porridge this morning to warm myself up.

Happy July 4th for you Americans :)
On another note, just as I noticed it while watching the tennis here in the UK. What is it with Serena's earrings? Just look at the size of them! I guess I just don't get it or something but I remember when I was a kid I was always told how one should never wear earrings while doing sports in case they get caught. I know it's not a contact sport, but I still find myself wincing when she's playing!
